Class 5 spent a very warm, sunny three days at Kilve Court. Some particular highlights for me were 1) Having to make 15 beds because children spent forever wrestling with their bed sheets! 2) Being woken up at 5am by Elvie trying to find her lost tooth, 3) Neatly packing  Bluebelle’s suitcase because she was too busy singing and dancing, only for her to empty it right back out again! 4) Watching the class run across a field doing their best cow impressions 5) Seeing Alfie covered head-to-toe in water after sacrificing himself to win a team building game, 6) Cas and Rufus definitely not listening when I said don’t let the buoys swing back in each other’s faces on the low ropes course! 7) And multiple children trying to bribe me with my favourite snacks to give them a good rating on their room inspection!          Miss Downer

The best thing at Kilve was grass sledging! On Wednesday group A went to grass sledging first while group B went to do a low ropes course. At grass sledding we went down a giant, steep hill and we picked up some speed on our sledges!  When we got to the bottom of the hill we had to drag it all the way up again. While riding Freddie fell out of the sledge!! When we finished we swapped over with group B and did low ropes. There were a lot of obstacles in the way of the finish. We walked across tight ropes to get to the other side.  Freddie and Jesse

We did archery and abseiling. In archery we learnt how to hold a bow and fire an arrow. We played a game called ‘bake the pizza’ where you had to hit certain colours on the target. In abseiling, we learnt how to use the ropes and propel ourselves down the tower. All in all, it was great fun! Henry
