Year 5 Residential to Kilve
8 May 2019
On Wednesday 24th April, Year 5 went to Kilve Court on a three day residential trip. When we arrived at Kilve, we met a lady who talked to us about our stay. Next, some staff showed us to our dorms. The boys were upstairs and the girls were downstairs. We had around an hour and a half to settle into our dorms before we had our first activity. We went on a beach walk and fossil hunt. The rain didn't deter us, and we found many fossils! We went back to our dorms to change our clothes before going out to play wide games. We played two games of man hunt and then we did some relays. We went to bed late at 10pm! Over the next few days, we did a lot of activities. We did the climbing wall, grass sledging, rifle shooting, a night walk, the maze and mountain biking. My favourite was the mountain biking. We all had a great time. Thank you to Mr Coupe, Mrs Brierley, Mrs Downs and Mrs Lapthorn for organising this trip and looking after us. by Tilly.
