Hi, my name is Adele
Pennington and I teach Class R. Mrs Soo Egerton, Mrs Morrell,
Mrs Debbie Mace and Mrs Becky Thomas will be working with
me and your children.
I have been teaching
infants and juniors for 15 years having qualified as a teacher
(B.Ed.) at University of Wales - Bangor Normal College in
North Wales. Over these years I have taught across the primary
phases and across the country too, but really love working
with Foundation stage and Key stage one children and to see
them develop as they move on up through the school.
As you will have noticed,
I like my classroom to be a bright, stimulating learning environment
- with lots going on! I love anything creative and my particular
love is reading. I particularly like story telling with the
children - and to see the development of their language and
writing from this is amazing! Come in and see our lovely work!
My next love is music and singing- and I play music for my
own pleasure- flute, clarinet, piccolo, recorder, guitar and
I am learning to play the piano! I teach the children to play
the recorder in school at lunchtimes too. I play flute and
piccolo in Taunton Concert Band.
My door is always open
and I am always pleased to meet and chat to parents, so do
feel you can come in to see me about your child - the end
of the school day or at the 'settling in time' at the beginning
of the day are often the best times, if possible. If you do
need to speak to me and are unable to come into school then
feel free to email me misspennington@gmail.com
